Richie is humble local character who has been on the scene since he was a kid. He surfs with an incredibly smooth buttery style with no lack of power. You will see him drop into a wave, watch tentatively from the back, and then hear him crack his board straight up through the lip, followed by all the spray falling to the ocean seconds later.
